Flegamina syrup with mint flavor without sugar contains the active substance bromhexine hydrochloride, which has an expectorant effect, liquefying secretions from the respiratory tract. This medicine facilitates expectoration and clearing the bronchi.
Indications
Acute and chronic respiratory diseases with impaired expectoration and mucus removal.
The composition
of 5 ml of syrup contains the active substance 4 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride and excipients: liquid, non-crystallizing sorbitol 70%, glycerol, propyl parahydrocybenzoate (E 216), levomenthol, eucalyptus-mint flavor, ethanol 96%, concentrated hydrochloric acid, patent blue (E 131) , turmeric (E 100), purified water.
Action
: Dilutes thick secretions in the bronchi by depolymerization of acidic polysaccharides in the mucus. At the same time, it stimulates the mucous glands to produce neutral polysaccharides, which reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions.
