Alantan Plus Ointment 30g

Alantan Plus is an ointment medicine for topical application to the skin. Alantan Plus contains two active substances: allantoin and dexpanthenol. Allantoin exfoliates and
protects the skin, improves its hydration and supports the treatment of wounds by stimulating the growth of new tissue. Allantoin, when used regularly in hyperkeratosis of the skin, can prevent
an excessive build-up of keratin (a type of protein). Dexpanthenol deeply penetrates the skin, where it transforms into pantothenic acid. The increased demand for pantothenic acid occurs in the event of damage and various types skin problems . Dexpanthenol has the ability to bind water, which leads to increased skin elasticity.
 

Alantan Plau is used:

• preventively in  diaper rash  in infants,
• in the treatment of various types of wounds, such as:
  • abrasions,
  • small cuts and cracks in the skin,
• in the treatment of  sunburn and burns after radiotherapy and phototherapy,
• in the care of irritated and dry skin,
• in hyperkeratosis of the skin of the hands and feet,
• supportive in atopic dermatitis, allergic eczema, rhinitis and leg ulcers.
