Cholinex Sugar Free 24 lozenges

Cholinex is a medicinal product for use in inflammation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat, pain and swelling of the throat.

Indications: 

• Inflammation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat,
• pain and swelling of the throat accompanying inflammation,
• as a drug supporting antibiotic therapy of infections of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat,
• in the dental treatment of inflammation of the gums and periodontal tissues.

Composition: 

The active substance is: choline salicylate (Cholini salicylas).

1 tablet contains 150 mg of choline salicylate.

Excipients: isomalt, liquid malitol, aspartame (E 951), acesulfame potassium, peppermint oil.

The product does not contain sugar.

Dosage: 

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.

• Drug for use in the oral cavity.
• Maximum of 6 lozenges a day.

Children over 12 years of age and adults: 1 lozenge suck 4 to 6 times a day.

If your sore throat does not improve within 1 to 2 days, see your doctor.

Action: 

Cholinex has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Choline salicylate reduces swelling, congestion of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. It also increases the secretion of saliva, which supports the anti-inflammatory effect.

Contraindications: 

When not to use Cholinex

• if you are allergic to the active substance, salicylates, other NSAIDs or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
• if you have oesophageal varices (haemorrhage risk), phenylketonuria.
