Application
A set of optimally selected ingredients:

supporting visual acuity and vision processes (marigold flowers, vitamin A + Zn),
protecting the eyes against free radicals (vitamin C + E + Zn).
The preparation is recommended for people:

experiencing eye fatigue,
spending many hours at the screen,
driving vehicles after dark,
staying in smoky rooms,
exposed to intense sunlight,
for the elderly.
Factors unfavorable for the eyes are also: dry air, air conditioning,
poor lighting, too little sleep, long-term stress, smoking, drinking alcohol, incorrect diet.

Action
The ingredients of the preparation protect the eyes and support the vision processes.

Lutein and zeaxanthin found in marigold flower extract are carotenoids which, like vitamins, are not produced by the human body and must be supplied with the diet.

They are found mainly in the macula of the eye, the most sensitive part of the retina. The macula is a cluster of cells in the retina that is responsible for visual acuity. This area of €‹€‹the eye is particularly susceptible to unfavorable environmental factors, such as UV radiation or harmful free radicals. Lutein also accumulates in the lens of the eye, protecting its cells against the harmful effects of free radicals.

Unlike beta-carotene, lutein is actively stored by the cells of the macula and lens. It acts as a filter that protects these structures against high-energy UV radiation. Lutein is found especially in leafy greens such as spinach, lettuce and celery leaves.

Vitamin A is converted into rhodopsin in the retina of the eye, a photosensitive pigment, essential for vision in dusk and in low light.
Vitamin A also supports the proper functioning of the conjunctival epithelium.

Zinc is a powerful antioxidant; it is part of the enzymes that transform vitamin A into rhodopsin. Vitamins C and E are strong antioxidants. Free radicals are formed, among others as a result of harmful UV radiation and aging processes.

Providing the right amount of these vitamins in the diet is particularly important for the effective functioning of the anti-free radical mechanisms in the body.
