Neo-angin lozenges are a medicine in the form of lozenges recommended for the treatment of inflammations of the mouth and throat, with symptoms such as sore throat, redness, swelling.
Composition:
2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, amylmetacresol and left-menthol, star anise oil, peppermint oil, sucrose, glucose syrup, tartaric acid, cochineal red A (E 124).
One lozenge contains 1.2 mg of 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, 0.6 mg of amylmetacresol and 5.9 mg of levomenthol and excipients: star anise oil, peppermint oil, sucrose, glucose syrup, tartaric acid, cochineal red A (E124).
Indications and action:
- Supporting the treatment of inflammations of the mouth and throat with symptoms such as sore throat, redness, swelling.
- The substances contained in the preparation show bactericidal activity against most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria that cause infections in the mouth and throat, as well as antifungal activity against fungi that cause thrush.
- Neo-angin has a pleasant taste and is well tolerated.
Dosage:
Always take Neo-angin lozenges as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Before the first use, consult your doctor.
1 tablet every 2-3 hours. Do not use more than 6 tablets in a day. The drug is administered orally. Slowly suck or dissolve 1 tablet in the mouth every 2-3 hours. Do not swallow the tablets whole. Don't chew. Do not take the drug for more than 4-5 days without a doctor's recommendation.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients, if the patient has fructose intolerance, in children under 6 years of age.
Interactions:
Tell the doctor or pharmacist about all the drugs the patient is taking now or recently, as well as about the drugs that the patient is planning to take.
Side effects:
Neo-angin lozenges can, like any other medicine, cause side effects. It should be remembered that not everyone will experience them.
Irritation of the oral mucosa and gastrointestinal tract has been observed very rarely (less than 1 in 10,000 patients).
Allergic reactions can also occur.
