Neo-angin cherry is a medicine in the form of hard lozenges with antibacterial and antifungal properties.
Composition:
The active substances are: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol (Alcohol 2,4-dichlorobenzylicus), amylmetacresol (Amylmetacresolum), levomenthol (Levomentholum). Excipients: isomalt, tartaric acid, cherry flavor, peppermint oil, 4R ponceau (E 124), indigo carmine (E132).
1 tablet contains 1.2 mg of 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, 0.6 mg of amylmetacresol and 5.9 mg of levomenthol.
Indications and action:
Neo-angin cherry contains two substances (2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol) with antibacterial and antifungal properties, and levomenthol, which causes a feeling of coolness on mucous membranes and has a weak local anesthetic effect.
Dosage:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults and children over 6 years of age: orally, suck 1 lozenge every 2-3 hours.
Do not use more than 6 lozenges a day.
The lozenges should not be swallowed whole. Don't chew.
The patient should not take the product for more than 3-4 days without a doctor's recommendation.
Contraindications:
Do not take Neo-angin Cherry:
- if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Interactions:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all the drugs you are taking or have recently taken, and about any drugs you plan to take, including those sold without a prescription.
It is not recommended to use the drug Neo-angin Cherry in pregnant and lactating women.
Side effects:
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Very rare: irritation of the oral mucosa and gastrointestinal tract
Not known: allergic reactions such as swelling of the lips and tongue
