Icelandic moss syrup is a medical product that relieves the symptoms of dry cough and hoarseness.
Ingredients:
Iceland moss thallus extract (Cetraria islandica L. Acharius), water, sucrose, glycerol, sodium benzoate, xanthan gum, citric acid, natural strawberry flavor.
Indications:
- to protect and moisturise the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat
- to create a protective coating that limits susceptibility to external irritants
- to relieve the symptoms of dry cough, hoarseness, dryness, burning and sore throat
- to facilitate swallowing and reduce the cough reflex
- as an aid during bacterial and viral infections (e.g. colds, tonsillitis)
- after illnesses to relieve irritation of the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat.
It is recommended for people:
- experiencing symptoms of a dry, irritating cough
- experiencing irritation, sore throat
- accompanied by a feeling of pain and burning when swallowing
- experiencing a feeling of dryness in the mouth and throat caused by external factors (including staying in unventilated, strongly heated or air-conditioned rooms)
- experiencing symptoms of hoarseness, which may appear, among others, as a result of straining the vocal cords
Dosage:
For use in children over 1 year of age and adults.
Children aged 1-6 years: 5 ml of syrup 1-2 times a day, depending on the need
Children and adolescents aged 6-18 years: 5 ml of syrup 3-4 times a day, depending on the need
Adults: 10 ml of syrup 3-4 times a day, depending on the need
How to use:
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
Use the measuring cup included in the package to measure the appropriate amount of the preparation.
Do not drink or eat for about half an hour after taking it, in order to maintain the properties of the protective coating.
It can be used regardless of the time of day.
After each use, rinse the measuring cup with lukewarm water and leave to dry (do not use cleaning agents and devices - dishwasher).
Warnings:
Do not use in case of allergies or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product.
Taken in excessive amounts in children, it may cause a laxative effect.
Use in accordance with the instructions for use.
The use of the preparation in children under 1 year of age should be consulted with a doctor.

Due to the content of sucrose (810 mg / 5 ml), caution is recommended in diabetics.
In the case of using the product as an adjunct during bacterial and viral infections, if the symptoms do not subside or worsen after 7 days, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Storage:
Store in original, tightly closed packaging, at a temperature of 15-25 degrees C. Protect from light. Store out of the reach and sight of children.
After opening the bottle, use within 30 days.
